I am pleased to see that the 3″ X 3″ box containing a miniature two piece set of Giant Grip “Champion” pitching shoes and a small brochure commemorating the Giant Grip Manufacturing Co. 75th anniversary [1863 – 1938] found it’s way to your impressive display case. I sent this set to Bob Dunn in 2012; said he would put it on display; there it is. Thanks. [My father, Jule Schommer, was VP and General Manager of Giant Grip [then a division of Geringer Tool & Die, Milwaukee, WI] from early 1949 until early 1951 when the firm was liquidated. Pitching shoes were still being drop forged until the end of production in early 1951].
